Features: Linux or Windows, full root/admin access, network-level DDoS mitigation on every VPS, deployment within minutes of ordering, and an optional managed variant with cPanel. The terms promise a 99.9 % uptime SLA for VPS.
Sign-up and privacy: BearHost asks only for a working email address and says it never requires ID or real-name verification. On complaints it states that it acts only on valid legal process from a court with jurisdiction; informal takedown demands are archived rather than forwarded.
Mail servers: outbound port 25 is blocked by default; it can be unblocked on request to the abuse team for genuine transactional mail setups.
