BitLaunch sells hourly-billed KVM cloud VPS that you pay for only in cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin, through its own in-house payment system; no card or PayPal). From one panel you can launch BitLaunch's own servers or servers at the partners DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode. Sign-up needs only an email address and password, and BitLaunch describes itself as a no-KYC provider.
Hardware (own servers): Intel Gold CPUs (Intel Xeon family), SSD storage with RAID, KVM virtualization. Sizes go up to 64 GB RAM, 10 vCPUs and 1,200 GB SSD. BitLaunch does not say whether cores are dedicated or shared, and does not give the RAM type or how many IPv4 addresses come with a server. IPv6 is available.
Prices: The Standard plan starts at – per month or – per hour. You top up a prepaid balance, and each server is billed by the hour. There are no yearly terms. Transfer is unlimited on BitLaunch's own servers and on DigitalOcean and Linode servers. On Vultr servers, overage charges apply.
Locations: BitLaunch counts 27 datacenter locations in 16 countries, including the Netherlands, Romania, the UK and several US cities on its own hardware, plus partner locations in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
Features: OS images include Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Windows and Ubuntu Desktop, plus BSD and more on partner locations. You also get one-click apps, a developer API and a CLI tool, instant setup and a free trial. DDoS protection is free on BitLaunch's own servers and on some partner servers. Backups are available as an add-on for DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode servers. BitLaunch advertises 99.95 % uptime on its product page but publishes no formal SLA terms.
Rules: The acceptable use policy allows Tor exit, relay and bridge nodes, and BitLaunch encourages users to connect over Tor. When abuse is reported, the server is usually taken offline and suspended. BitLaunch also complies with copyright notices. All payments are final: there are no refunds or withdrawals of your balance, apart from statutory exceptions. When the balance reaches zero, servers are suspended for up to 48 hours and then destroyed.
