Coinhost (coin.host) is a Swiss hosting brand operated by Solar Communications GmbH of Zurich, founded in 2011. Its virtual-server line, Confidential Compute, runs on AMD EPYC processors with AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV), which encrypts each virtual machine's memory with keys generated inside the CPU. All servers run on the company's own hardware in a data centre in Zurich, Switzerland.
The line spans six tiers. The entry-level Confidential Compute XS offers – vCPU, – GB RAM and – GB NVMe storage for – per month, including – IPv4 address and – TB of bandwidth. At the top end, the Confidential Compute XXL tier comes with – vCPU and – GB RAM at – per month. Setup is free on the XS tier, and servers are typically available within minutes after payment confirmation. Billing is monthly, with longer cycles up to 12 months; hourly billing is not offered. Additional IPv4 addresses cost 20.00 CHF each.
Payments are accepted in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Dash as well as dozens of other tokens — including Tether on the Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON chains — alongside card, PayPal and bank transfer. Sign-up requires personal details; identity verification is only requested at the company's discretion for security, fraud-prevention or compliance reasons. The SLA guarantees 99.9 % availability per month. All payments are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced. Backups are included, an API allows managing orders programmatically, and support runs via live chat and tickets.
