Njalla Hosting is the server offer of the privacy service Njalla. It sells container-based virtual servers (INCUS with a CEPH storage backend) in data centres in Sweden and accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero as well as PayPal.
Plans and prices. There are six fixed monthly plans, from VPS 15 at – with – core and – GB disk, through VPS 30 at – (– cores, – GB RAM, – GB disk, – TB traffic) and VPS 60 at – (– cores, – GB RAM, – GB disk, – TB traffic), up to VPS 90 at – (– cores, – GB RAM, – GB disk, – TB traffic). Every server comes with – IPv4 address, IPv6 and root access over SSH. Prices are monthly only; there is no hourly billing and no yearly price. Servers can also be created through Njalla's API, and the site is reachable as a Tor onion service.
Sign-up and privacy. An account needs only an email or XMPP address and a password. The terms state that no further information is required, so there is no ID check.
What is not published. Njalla does not name the CPU model, whether cores are dedicated or shared, or the RAM type. Linux is the only operating system family offered.
Refunds. Payments are final and non-refundable unless Njalla decides otherwise at its discretion; there is no money-back period.
Pros
- Payment in Monero and other coins, account with email or XMPP only
- Root access, IPv4 and IPv6 included in every plan
- API for creating servers, onion address
Cons

- No refund, no hourly or yearly billing
- CPU model, core type and RAM type not published
- Linux only
