Zappie Host is a New Zealand hosting provider founded in March 2015 and headquartered in Auckland. It runs its own hardware on its own network and offers VPS plans from three locations: New Zealand, South Africa and Chile — as budget LXC servers and premium KVM servers, configurable with Linux or Windows. New servers are provisioned automatically after payment.
Bitcoin is the accepted cryptocurrency, alongside PayPal and credit card. Sign-up requires personal details and billing information. Every VPS includes a dedicated IPv4 and IPv6 address; extra IPv4 addresses cost 2.50 USD USD each. Zappie Host processes weekly backups of all VPS services, but advises clients to keep their own backups.
A no-questions-asked money-back refund applies within the first 5 days of service purchase, requested via a billing support ticket. No refund is given if the service was terminated for abuse or breaching the terms of service. Valid copyright (DMCA) complaints are forwarded directly to the client.
