Privex is a hosting provider that accepts only cryptocurrency — HIVE, HBD, BTC, BCH, LTC, XMR, EOS and DOGE — for VPS and dedicated servers in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland and the USA (North Carolina). Privex usually owns the hardware it offers instead of renting it.
Entry plans on the official order page:
- Sweden Micro VPS (IPv6 only) — –/mo, no setup fee, – core, – GB SSD, IPv6 only (no IPv4), – TB traffic per month.
- Sweden HDD VPS — –/mo, no setup fee, – core, – GB RAM, – GB HDD, IPv4 and IPv6, – TB traffic per month.
- USA NVMe Hive VPS — –/mo, no setup fee, – cores, – GB RAM, – GB NVMe, IPv4 and IPv6, – TB traffic per month. Dedicated servers in Germany start from the entry card with – GB RAM.
Sign-up and privacy. The order form only collects your name (aliases are fine), e-mail address, server hostname, purpose of use and the selected operating system. Privex does not publish an ID verification requirement.
Refunds. Privex offers a 7-day refund policy for VPS and dedicated servers.
Abuse policy. The Netherlands and Sweden are "autonomous regions" where abuse reports go directly to Privex, which decides itself whether to comply with non-court complaints. In the standard regions (Germany, Finland, USA) reports are forwarded by the datacenter and problematic content must be taken down within the deadline the provider sets, or the server is suspended or terminated. Tor relays are allowed in all regions with an appropriate unmetered bandwidth plan; Tor exit nodes are allowed in autonomous regions only and with permission from Privex. Adult content is allowed.
Other details. Additional IPv4 addresses cost from 2.50 USD/mo plus setup. Support is available by e-mail and Discord. Privex does not offer services to individuals or domestic corporations from Belize.
